I have been selected as one of three resident artists for the Temple Quarter campus currently under construction in the Temple Meads area. This residency will involve me making work commemorating the history of the site as well as delving into what the building of the campus will mean for surrounding communities. Click on the link below to watch ‘Brick Me’, a piece inspired by the now demolished derelict building site.

Very pleased to announce that I've been awarded the role of BRISTOL CITY POET from 2018 - 2020! This will involve a lot of things, including commemorating various events in the city and capturing the general sprit of the place. I'm also going to be running workshops with diverse groups in the community and doing as much outreach work as possible. Click the picture below for more information.

I was chuffed to meet Deborah Frances White at a gig I did last year and she invited myself and incredible playwright Miriam Battye (who is also incidentally my housemate) onto a recent episode of The Guilty Feminist! You can have a listen to the episode here.

The new book is finally here! 'A Recipe For Sorcery' is a culmination of my work from the past four years and I'm super proud of it. It'll make the perfect Christmas gift for you or a loved one, if I do say so myself. To buy a copy, do a cheeky click right here.

My one woman show SEXY is now embarking on a tour of the UK starting at Brighton Dome on 17th and 18th November. We will be performing all the way through 2018 with dates in London, Bristol and Wales already set up! We have a brand new spanking image courtesy of the brilliant Guy Sanders and I can't wait to take it as many places as possible. If you want the show to come to your town/city, wing me a message and we will do our best to get in contact with your local theatre.

Things have been hectic over the festival season (nine and counting!) and I've had to push the publication date forward for my second collection. But can finally say that A Recipe for Sorcery will be coming out this November! It's a book lamenting the struggles and celebrating the joys of womanhood. I want it to feel like an illegitimate hybrid between a poetry book, an essay collection, a diary and a recipe book. I hope for it to be honest, inappropriate, gut wrenching and uncompromising. I shan't say any more and will just wiat for you to read it and experience it in whatever way makes sense to you. This is the provisional cover design by brilliant graphic designer and friend Sherony Lock and I am really looking forward to knuckling down over the next couple of months to make this a true representation of how I've grown as a writer and human. Expect a truly down and dirty book launch for it, too - I've got plans to introduce this book into the world in the most outrageous way possible!

Very pleased to announce that I am one of five local artists that have been selected by Bristol Old Vic as one of their Leverhulme Arts Scholars! This is an amazing bursary that gives me financial and artistic support over the next year. I'll be receiving mentorship, rehearsal space and opportunites to collaborate with other brilliant artists. I will be watching a lot more theatre and will be able to go on workshops and retreats to really hone my craft. This is such an incredible opportunity, especially after a really tough January where I was almost considering giving up being an artist. This definitely feels like a sign for me to keep pushing. Learn more about the scholarship and the other great artists on the scheme here.
